Costume Changes

When it came to filming we encountered some problems, as we had wide imaginations of how our characters would look we did not consider main aspects such as could we achieve these. As our ‘geek’ would be played by a girl we knew we would have to make her look manly to fit with the story of the video. We wanted to stick to our original idea of high trousers and braces, as we could not find a bow tie we decided to leave this out and used a polo top with a high top button to add to the geek effect. We gelled her hair slick back and used glasses to hide her feminine eyes, these worked well as it made her look masculine.
We knew that filming could take several days so when considering make-up for our main character we thought that anything to over the top could be hard to create again so we did not include any facial art. As our character has bright blonde hair we decided to make this stand out by using a lot of dry shampoo to help puff it up as she would through her hair around when dancing to the camera.
