Editing Evaluation

During the editing process we found numerous challenging aspects of the programme 'Final Cut', as we had not used this programme last year it began to be a trial and error process whilst learning what options within the programme done what.

Once figuring out the basic forms of editing we then looked into including different aspects into our video, this include the use of a number of tranisitions. We began to place different effects throughout our video, this allowed us to see what elements we thought looked good in the video and ones we did not like.

When learning how professional and specialized 'Final Cut' was it allowed us to speed up and reverse shots throughout our music video. Once we had placed all the transistions in our video we then went on too look at different colourful techniques that we could include.

We changed the colours of our split screens to help add effects but we did not change any other colours throughout the video as we had many scenes that were meant to be dark, such as our party scenes.

In using 'Final Cut' we were able to increase the level of editing compared to that of last year when we used a different programme.
